What is a knee walker used for?
Knee Walkers are used for below the knee non-weight bearing medical conditions like sprains, fractures, Charcot foot, diabetic foot condition, etc. Some surgeries also require non-weight bearing resting like Achilles ruptures, ankle replacements, etc.
I live/work in a tight space, can I still use a knee walker?
Our knee walkers have the best turn radius's in the industry. If the knee walker is for indoor use only and typically in an apartment, we would recommend going with our Enhanced Mobility Knee Walker, which comes with dual brakes and a 45 degree turning radius.
Can I use a knee walker outside?
Yes, all our models can be used for outdoor. Our All-Terrain Knee Walker is the better option if you are mainly outside. This model provides users the ease to function on different terrains due to its larger, air filled tires.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Typically our customers find that 4 weeks is the minimum time for a smooth recovery process. With a 4 week rental our customers will be given free shipping in Ontario. If you believe you will still require a knee walker for less than 4 weeks, please give us a call at (289) 814-9968 and we will try our best to accommodate you.
What are my shipping costs?
We provide FREE shipping to all our customers Ontario wide. If you are located outside of Ontario, please contact us as costs may vary.
When will my knee walker arrive?
We aim to have all orders in Ontario delivered within 48 hours. Outside of Ontario may take more time. If you require additional information and a more accurate delivery time, please call or email us.
How do I return the knee walker?
At the end of your rental period, we will provide you with the shipping label. Keep the original knee walker box. For return, place the knee walker into the original box, and apply the shipping label onto the box. Courier company will come to your house to pickup the box from you.
How does billing work?
You will be billed at the time of placing the order. You can take advantage of your health benefits by using your receipt for an insurance claim. If you are unsatisfied with the knee walker, please advise us within 4 business days and we will fully refund you.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes, you can give us a call and we can extend the rental period with the payment information on file or with new information, if required.
Can I use my insurance?
Depending on your insurance provider, you may be covered fully or only a portion of cost of rental. If you want to submit a claim to the insurance company, we recommend confirming your coverage prior to rental.
